Hailu Dimtsu Tamene

Hailu Dimtsu Tamene
Hailu Dimtsu Tamene has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ethiopia. He currently works as a maintenance engineer at the Ethiopian Custom and Revenue Authority. Mr. Tamene will pursue a two year master’s in Solar Energy Engineering at Dalarna University, Sweden. Upon returning to his country, he wishes to work on Research and Development.

 

Asutosh Nayak

Asutosh Nayak
Asutosh Nayak is a mechanical engineer and studied at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. He will pursue a Master of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Management in Developing Countries at the University of Flensburg. He is strongly committed to the development of his country and upon his return he wishes to work on developing solar energy in rural areas.

Radwa Mahmoud Gaber Algazzar

Radwa Mahmoud Gaber Algazzar

Radwa Mahmoud Gaber Algazzar is from Egypt where she obtained her Bachelor of Engineering from the British University of Egypt. She is currently working as a graduate teaching assistant. She will pursue a Masters in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management in the path of energy systems technology at the University of  Freiburg . Upon return to her country, she wishes to transfer her knowledge in the field of renewable energies.

 

Eduardo Goldaracena Aguirre

Eduardo Goldaracena Aguirre
Eduardo Goldaracena Aguirre is from Mexico where he obtained a Bachelor of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He will pursue a M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh. He wishes to return to Mexico and contribute to the transformation of Mexico’s energy industry.

Jesselyn Rochelle Malimata

Jesselyn Rochelle Malimata
Jesselyn Rochelle Malimata is from the Philippines where she obtained a B.Sc. in chemical engineering. She will pursue the European Joint Master’s in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy. She intends to return to her country and become involved in the development of off-grid electrification to bring newer, more efficient, and cleaner technologies to the Philippines.

 

Joyce Awinbun Apanga

Joyce Awinbun Apanga
Joyce Awinbun Apanga is from Ghana where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology, Ghana. She will pursue a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering for Sustainable and Renewable Energy at the University of Nottingham. She intends to return to her country and play a key role in the policy and decision-making in the Ghanaian energy sector.

Osakpolor Eki Obakpolor

Osakpolor Eki Obakpolor
Osakpolor Eki Obakpolor is from Nigeria where he obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Physics Electronics at the Federal University of Technology, Nigeria. He is the best graduating student of the university and was awarded the vice-chancellor’s prize. He will pursue a M.Sc. in Renewable Energy at the University of Hull, United Kingdom.

Dipta Majumder

Dipta Majumder
Dipta Majumder is from Bangladesh. He pursued his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He will pursue a one and a half year renewable energy M.Sc. program at Oldenburg University, Germany. Upon the completion of his studies, he wishes to open a consultancy service in Bangladesh.

Arpan Koirala

Arpan Koirala is from Nepal. He is an electrical engineer and studied at Motinal Nehru National Institute of Technology. Upon the completion of his studies, he wishes to implement the establishment of an independent research center for the promotion of renewables in rural and urban sectors to cope with the existing load shedding in Nepal.
