Dr. Johnson Fasinmirin holds a BA, MA and PhD from the Federal University of Technology of Akure, Nigeria. He has been accepted to the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Brazil, for his post-doctoral research. Dr. Fasinmirin is a lecturer with a strong record in teaching, awards and publication. His post-doctoral research will focus on soil management, compaction and water availability for cassava growth in the tropics.
Juan P. Martin Gómez is from Mexico where he obtained a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He has worked as manager of the energy saving project division of a manufacturing firm and plans in the future to create a consultancy branch at his former employer’s firm for renewable energy projects. He will be studying in the Postgraduate Programme in Renewable Energy at the University of Oldenburg, Germany.
Niraj Subedi is from Nepal where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering and an Executive Master of Business Administration with very high grades and inclusion in the Dean’s List. He has significant experience in the energy sector of his country having worked as an engineer in renewable and rural energy programs. He will be studying for the Master of Environmental and Energy Management at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
Sachin Navalkar is from India where he obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a grade in the top 0.3%. He currently works at a renewable energy consultancy firm and is particularly interested in wind energy. He will be studying for an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.
Pei Ling Koh is from Malaysia where she obtained a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering and graduated with First Class Honors from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. She has significant experience as a field engineer with Schlumberger Oilfield Services across different locations in India and China. Currently she is doing her Master in Management and Engineering in Energy and Environment at Universidad Politectnica de Madrid, Ecoles des Mines des Nantes and Royal Institute of Technology KTH Stockholm.
Kassaye Deyassa is from Ethiopia where he obtained a Bachelor in Geography and Environmental Studies and the Gold Medal award from his Faculty. He has been teaching at Hwassa University and the Rift Valley University and plans to continue his academic career in his country. He will be studying for an MSc in Environment and Energy Management at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
Chonthicha Atthabordee is from Thailand where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science graduating in the top 1% of her Faculty. She has significant environmental working experience in her country. She will be studying for a MSc in Energy & Environmental Sciences at the University of Groningnen in the Netherlands.
